The buffet was clean and supplied very well. I've been going to Mandarin House since the late '90s. They always had excellent service and food and that still hasn't changed. Try the empress chicken extra spicy.

Beside that it is a buffet, nothing special. The food was mostly cold, should be maintained at a higher temperature. I used to eat here with my friends when I was a teenager. I'm really happy to see Mandarin House is still serving great food.

The interior is in need of renovation. The staff is nice, but seem distant and often I will not see them again after the first round of drinks arrives. It is certainly middling as it is not great, but not terrible. Degraded quality in the last couple years, the eating area needs remodeling, carpet and ceiling are very degraded. I had to remove stars to my previous review. Go early, the later you go the less it is good.

It clearly says buffet in their signage. I don't do buffets but was starving and limited with time. So I entered and ate some of the best Asian food I've had in a while. The spring rolls and crab Rangoon were great. The hot and sour about what you usually get. The other stuff I got was very tasty.
Don't forget to start your meal with crab rangoons. It's better than what you would expect from a typical American Chinese place. The food is good, but I advise, as with all buffets, to go around peak times in order to get the best and freshest food.
